While No. 7 Missouri (11-2) prepares to face No. 25 Arkansas (8-4) in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1 in Dallas, Missoui’s coach Gery Pinkel was given a $550,000 raise bring his salary to $1.85 milion a year. He also recieved an extension to 2012 and all his assistants recieved raises and 2 year contracts instead of the usual 1 year contract. That is over a million more than KD ever got.

Since Rick has been there and done that as far as wins and bowl games will he be able to command such a slary from DG?

DG probably could have gotten Rick for less if he would have offered the job last week. But now that the bar has been raised, I am not sure if DG will ante up that much. And as far as paying the assistants, how much does DG have to work with to get some quality in here? Benefit plans? Health, dental, vision, 401 k, legal services (lol).

Does DG think that he can take the low road and hire DW at carpenter scale or something similar, since this will be a rebuilding year. Will Scott be paid minimum wage with night premium? I hope he at least gets the red shift manager paper
