I have been waiting for this moment since it was announced! The ad looks GREAT! I picked up two copies of the daily bruin on my way to class today. I haven’t heard anyone else talk about it on campus, but either way, I’m sure it caught a lot people’s attention. The ad was a lot bigger than I expected it to be. Thanks to everyone else who contributed and made this possible. I wonder how KD and his kool aid drinkers felt when they saw it.

Nicely done!

Wow, the ad IS huge! It looks great and we got great placement on the 2nd page of the Sports section, meaning the other side of the back page.

There has been quie a backlash to Jill Painter’s post on Dohn’s site concerning the ad. Any idea on overall feelings from students, university, athletes, and other parties? I want Dorrell gone as much as anyone, but have some concerns. Do you think this may have the opposite effect? I’ve read comments from those who will support Dorrell and write letters to DG and admin. to spite DD and Bruin Nation. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is the common reaction among readers of the ad.

Again, I’m all for KD getting fired. I beleive he has harmed the program, and disprespected the fans and university. I’ve been calling for his outster for a long time and get more and more ticked off with his comments. Knowing the history of the program and how insulated the culture is around the football program, my concern is the save Dorrell campaign moving foward and influencing DG and admin. If KD comes back next year, I will not be beyond frustrated and will probably not go to any games.

Thoughts on the overall implications of the ad?

Jim @ 7:28 pm:

If KD were an employee of a company and had a position of high rank and didn’t show a profit because of his failures in marketing, would he be kept on?

Bruins095 @ 8:39 pm:

I completely agree, he has to go!!! I’m just wondering if anyone may have have heard anything about the general reaction to the ad. Very curious.
