Dan Guerrero Turns Up Pressure On Karl Dorrell
After the Wazzu loss Dan Guerrero was silent when asked about the future of Karl Dorrell. Yesterday, oddly, he had something to say, per Brian Dohn:
“I will be very interested to see how we finish the season this year.’’
We all will. But once again, Dan had an excellent opportunity to say Karl Dorrell will be our head coach next season and didn’t take it. Rather, he noted how disappointed he was with the performance up in Pullman:
“The weekend in Pullman was difficult for us,’’ he said. “We are all disappointed with the performance and with the outcome of that game, but the reality is we still have our destiny in our hands. We have four tough games, two on the road, two at home, and obviously we’re going to need to perform at a high level to win those football games.
We don’t know what “need to perform at a high level” means, but we are pretty sure losing doesn’t fit that description. How much losing is the operative question. We started the season thinking 9 wins was the worst scenario. Now we think that is 8 wins, or Dorrell going 3-1 from here on out, which we don’t see happening. Ending 2-2, depending on who those wins come against and how, and DG may also have tough choice. 7-5 is no way to end this season and Dorrell should be fired but DG may not pull the trigger if those wins are against SuC and Oregon or ASU. We need to keep the pressure on so that we can make it a reality!! This is by no means a done deal.

You must get this talentless stumblebum off the University payroll. He is doing great damage to our wonderful school’s repretation.
