Wayne Cook, Steve Hartman Talk To DumpDorrell Fans
We got a great email from a DD reader about local radio talk on the Dorrell situation. Steve Hartman and his show The Loose Cannons on AM 570 brought former UCLA QB Wayne Cook on air to discuss the Notre Dame game and dumping Karl Dorrell. You have to listen to the 13 minutes interview in which Steve Hartman keeps talking about DumpDorrell.com and needing to give Bruin and DumpDorrell.com fans answers to the Karl Dorrell coaching problem. Wayne Cook tries his best to be diplomatic but can't avoid saying that if Dorrell doesn't win we need a coaching change. You can't fault Wayne for speaking the truth. Nice job guys.

The Cannons and Cook also goofed on KD for not calling in on the show this week, KD leaving word that he “had the week off”. Thompson said he bet KD would have called in had the Bruins won, to which they all agreed. It hurts to have the Bruins football program led by someone that the media now openly jokes about!!!

Kirk, yeah we heard that. Too funny. It looks like we are going to be on ESPN Radio locally tomorrow, Steve Mason and John Ireland’s The Big Show. We will let you all know more details then. They want to talk about the “We’re #4!” campain

DD, didn’t Mason and Ireland ambush you last year? It will be interesting to hear if their attitude to the cause has changed.

When we look back on history we can learn some valuable lessons. When Terry Donahue was coach he used the veer option as his offense but did away with it the following year because his talent wasn’nt geared to run the option. I’m not saying that Terry Donahue was a great coach but he was smart enough as most coaches should be; that if your skill players are not tailor made for your offense you make changes to maximize their talent and put your team in the best position to succeed. Unfortunately we have a coach who can’t see that his offense needs to be changed for the better of the team. We UCLA fans are stuck with a boring and lifeless team.
Louis Miranda @ 10:30 pm:
Please hire Rick Neuheisel as our next coach Dan Guerrero. What on earth are you waiting for.

For Christ’s sake, or at least UCLA’s,
Fire Dorrell NOW!!! And for “Living-in-denial” Guerrero, if he keeps on playing the deaf man, hell, fire his ASS too!!! Let us not forget, UCLA did not win 100 NCAA championships because of Guerrero’s stewardship; Guerrero just came on at the tail end of the ride… he got lucky, really lucky, that UCLA hired him. UCLA should never have hired Guerrero; he thought hiring clueless Karl would be the genius “black coach hire” of his tenure. WRONG. Now he’s afraid to admit the truth, and do what is requisite: Clean up HIS disaster; fire confused Karl; and hire a REAL coach. This so far has been nothing less than an egregious derelection of duty on the A.D’s part.
Hey Guerrero, you don’t want to do your job? No problem… UCLA fire Guerrero’s ass and hire a real A.D..; force that new A.D. to hire a qualified top rank football coach.
Action must be the order of the day!
