More Notre Shame
Karl Dorrell has not been fired yet … we just want to keep you all up to date. Also, that was not an asteroid that hit Los Angeles last night … it was not an earthquake. It was not an act of God warning us of the apocalypse. The city of Los Angeles just plained sucked last night. What kills us is that on the day Dorrell should be hammered in the press, SuC hands it to us again … an epic loss to lowly Stanford at the Coliseum … taking most of the press and pressure from Dorrell. Unreal. Notre Dame beat us with only 140 yards gained!! We hate writing about this.
But Dorrell cannot hide from this loss. TJ Simers:
Dorrell is at that point of his career where he might consider taking the field with a paper bag over his head. Losses to Utah and Notre Dame in the same season are strike one and strike two, and there's just no more defense for such horrid performances. As he said after the game, "It is what it is," and just maybe, and reluctantly it must be said here — he is, what he is.
That is the problem Dorrell is what he is… an experiment from the start. No experience no talent. As we have long said, Dorrell should have started at a small school rather than say he was "the best man for the job" at UCLA. Now fans at the Rose Bowl are letting him have it:
Can you call for a coach's head, as UCLA fans were doing in the waning seconds, and still hope your team wins the Pac-10?
Yes we can still win the Pac-10 … and we all know it won't happen. We are truly having a problem with this unexpected loss. It has thrown our plans off a bit. We have 2 horrible losses that surely put Dorrell on the hot seat for even the most ardent Dorrell supporter. But we still have the conference lead … and if Dorrell wins out he has the last laugh. We do not want to risk hurting our new Dump Dorrell campaign by giving supporters easy objections. We might have to launch our campaign anyway. Still thinking …

I really wouldn’t “lose any sleep” over KD winning the conference. Please. With 2QBs hobbling and a lame new one? Not happenin’. Not in this life anyway. I expected them to squeak by ND, so he even surprised me. But to beat Cal and UO or SC?
Not. Middle of the PAC. My prediction: HE WILL LOSE TO ALL 3 AND BE TERMINATED. and Unlike Arnold, he won’t be back.
Steve @ 10:29 am:
to DD: BEGIN THE CAMPAIGN NOW. TELL EVERYONE TO BOMBARD DG WITH EMAILS, CALLS, AND ANYTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. Tell them to cancel their season tickets. If he were a white guy, he would have already have been fired. That’s the sad thing about
the US. Blacks will claim he was fired for everything except the truth: Loser.

I’ve been a FAITHFUL Bruin supporter for over 40 years……..through thick and thin. BUT, for a univervesity with an athletic program (and tradition) as rich and prestigious as theirs [100 NCAA championships…and counting] to continue to allow this level of mediocrity….is beyond me…………
LAWRENCE @ 11:13 pm:
Hey Steve@10:29a.m.
YOU ARE DAMN RIGHT. PERIOD. FIRE BOTH DORRELL AND GUERRERO. NOW.
