we are tired (16 season tickets holders since 1982)of spending our money for season tickets on this clown of a coach. so lets all save money ( like UCLA does) next year by getting the general admission tickets to the games that we might win if this clown is still the head coach.

Dump Dorrell…I am part of a group of ex-UCLA swimmer who get together every year for a football game/reunion. We all made the track to South Bend for the game. This year we have around 60 ex-Bruins coming to the ND game.

Someone made the suggestion today to show our level of dissatisfaction to the administration and the nation (if on TV) would be to encourage everyone to boycott the 1st quarter of the game. Stay outside and tailgate in the parking lot then walk into the Rose Bowl at the end of the 1st quarter. We could get the word out on blogs like yours and Bruin Nation. If not the ND game, maybe this weekend vs. Washington.

Doug … we think its a great idea. Not sure if people will do it being 1-0 in the Pac-10 still. Also, it just might not be enough time to organize something like that to get enough people on board so that the media knows it and it actually shows on screen. However, there may not be many people there in the 1st quarter anyway so we could claim it wasn’t a result of our promotion, or they wouldn’t recognize it. Anyhow, we will start promoting it for you on our site if you are going to do it. After the next loss, it will be a lot easier and we will push that idea big, or a variation … along with our other plans. You have our support.

People will think you are just another late arriving group delayed by traffic. You would get attention if you all wore Dump Dorrell t shirts however. Wiley

I think if Dan G. is smart he has already contacted Terry Bowden.( Whom has annouced he wants to get back into coaching) He has all the intagibles to compete in So. Cal. personality, guts, charisma, and more importantly a national name in the media to get the Bruins back in the spotlight for positive reasons. I am not a Bruin fan but a football fan and would love to have them competitive again.

Here’s another great Idea…We can tailgate at the ND game and wait until Ben throws his 3rd pick in the 2nd quarter then we can all hold hands while the bruin mascot jumps up and down, while walking single file into the rose Bowl. Gosh, sometimes I feel like just screaming “arrrr”, because I can’t take this anymore. I mean, the SC game alone last year - kept me from offing my self. what do I have look forward to now of days.

Thanks Dump Dorrell…My crew has responded and is prepared even with tickets in hand to stay out until Half Time of the ND game behind the backstop and have a a tailgate with all Dump Dorrell fans!!!.

Appreciate it Dump Dorrell..my crew brings up same point, LA doesn’t show up until Q1 anyway..but what if we stay out until half and have more people at the back stop instead of in the stadium. How do we get to the students???

I love it..my son is trying to save the Oaks at Berkeley and I am trying to save our football program.
