Altitude Sickness!! Utah 44 - UCLA 6

Need. We. Say. More.

WTF???!!!  There is so much to say, so much that went wrong we don't have enough hours in the day.  We will get to it all in a few hours, later tonight, when we get back.   Just to let all Bruin football fans know, DumpDorrell will now get into high gear … you can count on that.  However, we will save our big campaign for the first Pac-10 loss … after all, Dorrell can still win the conference championship.  Will it happen? Not likely, after the disaster we saw today.   But our campaign plans are designed to get a lot of attention and we will put them out in full force at the right time - and that is not exactly now.

Will will however carry the message that this is not acceptable, and take it to the media and to the Athletic Department and to the internet.  For now, sign up for our email list on the upper right side of the site, and/or sign up for our RSS feed under our logo and to the right in the rightmost column.  Get informed of when we launch our campaign so that we can act in force.  This was an utter embarrassment … there will be a response!!!  More later …

Ok, riddle me this… what in the HELL are Shannon Tevaga and Bruce Davis doing in the game when it’s a blow-out and time is running out? The biggest problem with Dorrell is his inability to override bad decisions by his coordinators… you mean to tell me there’s not one coach on the staff that has the brain to realize that Davis and Tevaga should be sitting on the sideline at that point in the game? How about trying to block one of their field goals? So they tried a fake, that means you make ZERO effort for the rest of the game to try and get a block? This was the most pathetic performance by a UCLA football team I’ve seen since I’ve been a fan (1990). We need a coach with the brains and the brawn to take this team to the next level. Dorrell is a coordinator, at best.

SD Sam @ 9:04 pm:

I’m so shocked, I’m just speechless—this is a loss, that has characterized our team since the beginning of the Dorrell era: Can win a big one, but who the F##K know what will happen in the other games.

I’ve been supportive but its time to say enough is enough:

FIRE DORRELL!!!

Las Vegas Bowl ‘05
All the $uc Losses, esp ‘05
At Arizona in ‘05
Oklahoma St loss in ‘04
Last year’s loss to Notre Dame
The Emerald Bowl ‘06
Now this—what else can we say???

Time for a new sheriff in Westwood.

Tustin Bruin @ 10:12 pm:

Hey Karl, ever hear of rushing the field goal??

wmm @ 10:25 pm:

I’m sorry to say I’m not at all surprised we lost in a convincing fashion. That we were manhandled from start to finish by an 0-2 team missing several of its stars is just breathtaking. And Utah was doing everything it could NOT to run up the score.

KD had not a clue what to do. Thank goodness this site does.

Doug @ 10:33 pm:

I feel sorry for the Seniors who have the talent and the motivation….but they don’t have the leadership or direction from the coaching staff. Why are the first string on the field at the end when it is over…now we have injuries to key players that put future games at risk as well as those player’s careers??? I just finished watching SC whip Nebraska…am I mistaken that the Nebraska offense looked a lot like ours with almost the exact same outcome/blowout??

Can’t wait to hear DG’s excuse for this one or am I wrong that everyone from DG to KD said about this year “No Excuses!!”

Game, Set, Match…I am Done!!!!

There’s hope for Notre Dame after all,UCLA is on their schedule!

david @ 9:32 am:

Everybody wants to get rid of KD, and I am up for it. I have been a supporter of KD and after this game I have had enough of his teams play and excuses. But the only way the fans can force him out is by not showing up to the games anymore. That’s where it will hit the AD the hardest, is in the schools pocket. Fans can scream and yell all they want, but if they keep on showing up the games then he will be there. I am also jumping on the Cowan band wagon, he is a true leader. Lets get those dump dorrell t-shirts out!
