Kiffin: Raiders Have Great “Nuculous” Of Players
It’s not fair to knock a guy for getting simple grammar or pronunciation wrong in his first press conference as an NFL coach. But Lane Kiffin’s first press conference has to be seen and enjoyed. It’s hard to see how this guy will ever convince grown men who are millionaires to work hard for him, and “play happy.” This is smash-mouth football, not Romper Room. This guy better know how to coach because he has as much common sense as a Baghdad Bob and as much charisma as a rock.
Sure, he should be given some slack for being nervous at his first media day as a head coach of anything, let alone head coach of the Raiders - with Al Davis sitting next to him. But he shouldn’t be showing off how smart he became while at USC … calling his offense a “great nuculous of players” kind of hurts his already suspect credibility. It doesn’t help that Al Davis pronounced Kiffin his “number 1 choice” at the press conference. Yeah, everyone buys that Al. Tough assignment for Kiffin, even we can’t watch this trainwreck … just messin’ … we won’t miss it.
