Snatch Defeat From The Jaws Of Victory!

Nice job KD!! That is why you play to win. Playing conservative will get you Ls. 3 and out, no bold plays called to win it. KD played to not lose and lost. It took only 35 seconds to waste the entire game, a game the players deserved to win. And there was KD standing like a statue on the sidelines. Embarrassing … on national television. This game makes us sick, so short postgame notes:

1. Notre Dame sucks. They are not a top 10 team. They did not impress on offense or defense.
2. Brady Quinn sucks more. How is he a Heisman candidate?! The lard can't move or make good decisions unless he has tons of time.
3. Our defense played great, and Walker deserves credit. But that last drive took that all away. Walker changed what was working and gave a horrible QB too much time. He made it too easy on him. We had linebackers on Samardzija, the only guy hurting us all game.
4. Cowan cannot throw over the top, he's got no touch. We were going to point this out last week. He tries to put touch on the ball by jumping while he's throwing … wtf? Anyone else see this?? Good effort otherwise. Still, we are waiting for Ben Olson to return.
5. 36 yards rushing on 27 carries, 229 yards total offense aint going to get it done KD.  Why is Svoboda still calling all the plays??!
6. Key penalties called against us again. Team is lacking discipline.
7. 0-9 against winning teams on the road. 3-10 against ranked teams. KD is not getting it done. But what are we expecting, we get what we pay for.
8. Best team yet 4-3 KD!
9. Washington State is putting the beat down on Oregon, 27-9 4th Qtr. As we said last week, Wazzu is no gimme next Saturday at the Rose Bowl. Update: Wazzu won 34-23.
