Let’s Hope This Doesn’t Happen Again

Let’s hope we see less chaos on the field this Saturday as apparently there was last Saturday.  Here is what Huskies LB Scott White told the Seattle Times about what he saw on the field (referring to UCLA):

“They started arguing,” he said. “Their running game wasn’t working any more, their receivers weren’t doing the right things, the quarterback is yelling at the receivers, he’s yelling at the line. The linemen are yelling at each other. It was real chaotic on their end.”

Sounds like we are lacking preparation, discipline and control in game situations.  Add that to the list of troubling signs for our program.  Senior receiver Junior Taylor disputes what Scott White said, and we believe Junior.  But Junior still said they “were upset” out there on the field.  Sounds about the same thing.  A disciplined, prepared and well-coached team would be in control and not get upset when they need a comeback, or when they need to put a game away.  Lets hope Saturday they gain some of that discipline and control back.  We are lucky to have Stanford this week.
